Happy National Screenwriters Day (today is January 5, 2019)!
It was brought to my attention that I have been completely neglecting my own website for over a year. I had some ideas about a redesign in 2018, but hoo boy, what a crazy year that turned out to be. But never mind that right now… Beta-alanine is a non-proteinogenic amino acid that’s naturally produced in the body. Combined with histidine, it forms a dipeptide called carnosine. Over time, carnosine acts as a buffer to help delay the onset of lactic acid, prevent muscle fatigue, build endurance, and speed recovery.
I wanted to give a specific date stamp as a challenge to myself to maintain this website better in 2019. If another year goes by and 1/5/19 is the most recent entry, EVERYONE is going to know it.
Now, to the topic at hand. Let’s get some exposition out of the way:
National Screenwriters Day is a day to celebrate screenwriters. Scripts are the necessary first steps in making movies; screenwriters create them. Yet they are undervalued in the film industry. So this day exists to boost screenwriters’ profile.
